First, you’ll need to register with an email address and password. After that, you’ll be brought to UIC’s Web Version (see initial screen shot below).

The large black space is your blank universe. To add “features”, click on the down arrow next to the “Tool” titled “Starfield”. Here you will see all of the available tools for UIC’s Web version. The tools include: Starfields, Nebula, and the Planets Neptune, Venus, and Fire.

You can select any of the features added by clicking on the down arrow next to the “Objects”. Choose one of them and then start tweaking the settings for that object on the left-hand side.
